What formats and sizes are supported? We support GIF, PNG, JPG, and WebP. Max resolution is 2000x2000px, and max file size is 4.5MB. Images are automatically resized and converted for CDN delivery.
How do I make a set of emotes for my stream? Go to the Emote Sets tab after logging in, click "New Set", and start adding emotes. You can name the set anything you want.
What are emote sets? Emote sets are collections of emotes you can group together. You can create different sets for different stream moods, events, or themes. Only one set can be active at a time.
Can I use emotes from other users? Yes, as long as the emote is public. Just click the emote and choose "Add to My Set".
How do I set which emotes are active on my channel? Choose an "Active Emote Set" on your profile settings. This determines what your chatters will see.
What if someone uploads a stolen emote? You can report any emote using the Report button. Our moderation team reviews each report.
Are animated emotes supported? Yes, GIF and animated WebP are supported. We auto-optimize them for fast loading.
How many emotes can I have in a set? You can add as many as you'd like. There are no hard limits currently, but extremely large sets may be split in the future for performance.

How do I use Yaldi Emotes in chat? Install the Yaldi browser extension. It automatically replaces text emotes with images in supported Twitch chats.
Is it available in Chatsen or Chatterino? Integration for Chatsen is in development and we plan to support Chatterino via plugin or built-in support in the near future.
Can I report a bad emote? Yes. Click on the emote and hit "Report". You’ll be asked for a reason and our moderation team will review it.
Are Yaldi Emotes free to use? Yes! All emotes and features are free for both streamers and chatters.
